2009 Referee Recertification Clinics Announced
This year’s Summer Advanced Training is open to all referees, assessors, assignors, and instructors. However, it will be limited to the first 200 registrations made online, so sign up now at the link below. The Clinic will be held Saturday July 26 at the Barber Auditorium at Belhaven College, in Jackson. Dr. Sam Cho will be the National Instructor conducting the training sessions. This advanced training is mandatory for all Grade 6 referees and above. There will be a mandatory recertification session conducted by Dr. Cho on Sunday, July 27th for all Instructor and Assessors. Assignors are welcome to attend as well. You must sign up for this session online as well.

ODP Academy Camp is a resounding success
The ODP Academy camp held at Belhaven College by Dr Terry Eguaoje, MSA Technical Director was a huge success for the nearly 100 players in the 95' and 96' age groups. Click here for the Photo Gallery of the camp
MSA President Announces Appointments:
At the MSA Council Meeting held May 30, two MSA Officers announced their resignations from their Council positions. Kay Bouler, Division 1 Vice President and Dawn Wright, MSA Registrar submitted resignations that will take place over the next few weeks.
President Dodd announced that former MSA Division I Candidate, Bob Gilbert ,will assume the position of the Division 1 Vice President, and Barbara Brent, will assume the position of the MSA State Registrar until the next Annual General Meeting in accordance with MSA Bylaws. Barbara Brent has been serving as the Western District Registrar, and Bob Gilbert has been serving as the Division I Premier League Representive to Region III. The MSA Council affirmed the choices to fill these positions.
Kay Bouler will serve as the Division I Premier League Representative.
