League Play FAQ's

Question – I'm A U11 - U13 manager. How do I schedule my games?

Answer – Contact other managers in your age/gender and conference and arrange some tentative dates and times. Decide which of you will enter the Game Approval Request Form. Remember to include the game number when submitting

Question – When are Referee Fees Due?

Answer – Those Fee should be paid online via your managers utilities panel by October 15, 2009 or immediately if they are attempting to schedule games prior to that date. Games will not be scheduled until those fees are paid

Question – When I check my fees due, they don't add up to what I calculate. Why is there a difference? Question 1

Answer – All league games have been calculated using the fees shown on the referee page for D1 plus an additional $35.00 fee for travel for the officials. The reason for the additional travel fee is that MSA policy requires that programs must be self funded and this is actually a $13.00 per game reduction from last year.

Answer – For the age and gender groups that contain 2 or 3 teams, National Cup Rules requires that teams play three different teams in order to qualify for our state cup and Regional play. Team have been billed the entire cost of these additional one or two matches based on the fact that they are not guaranteed to play a team that has met all of their own qualification requirements. It would be unfair to bill those teams half of the game expenses for them to help satisfy another teams requirements.

Question – What if there there is an overage in fees after the league is finished?

Answer – once the league games are complete, all unused funds will be refunded on a by age and gender basis, after the MSA staff has completed all State Cup and Regional responsibilities. This is generally completed while the teams are at Regionals.
