Bid to Host MSA State Tournaments
MSA Sponsored Tournaments
The Mississippi Soccer Association shall conduct State Cups in the appropriate Under 10 through Under 19 age/gender divisions for its three (3) playing divisions.
The MSA Tournament Committee will announce the host organizations of each Championship Round at the Annual General Meeting. The Host District Schedule for MSA State Cups will be used to prioritize tournament bids, and MSA Organizations with Division I teams will have priority for serving as the Hosts for the Division I tournaments, however ultimately the best cost benefit for MSA shall serve as the final determiner for the host location.
MSA will solicit host organization bids for each State Cup, which address the required information in the e-org system and at the link below. The playing fields for State Sponsored Tournaments must meet the specified minimum sizes and quantity for each age group.1992 Econmic Impact Study - A study done by Mississippi State on a 47 team district tournament held in Starkville, MS. Note: most District Tournaments are about 100 teams and State Cups average between 120 and 140 teams.
