The MSA and US Youth Soccer Competitive Coach of the Year is awarded to a Division 1 Program coach for both a boy's team and a girl's team for his or her coaching activities, sportsmanship, player development, personal coaching development and citizenship.
Each organization will nominate their coach and the district will select a district winner.
The MSA Executive Council will select a state winner.
The state winner will be presented to the Region III Committee for National Committee review.
The national Boys and Girls Competitive Coach of the Year is announced at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala, as a part of the US Youth Soccer adidas Workshop.
Organizations who nominate coaches for the district award must complete The USYS Coach of The Year Nomination Form
USYS has not updated the form to the current year, but it is still acceptable.
