Annual General Meeting (AGM)

MSA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held VIRTUALLY January 21, 2023. Please see below for itinerary and important action items. 

  • 11:30am - Player Development Forum presented/facilitated by Chris Bentley, MSA Executive Director
    • ​Topic: MSA 2026 Strategic Plan & it’s application, both short-term & long term, on Recreational through Competitive Programming. NOTE: this includes modifications to the 2023 MCSL & Premier Cup!
  • 1:30pm - District Meetings hosted by respective District Directors
  • 2:30pm - AGM Business Meeting

​NOTE: Zoom invites for items above will be sent to all registered AGM Delegates/Alternates by EOD Thursday, January 19, 2023. If you have not received Zoom links via email by that time, please email Leah Head. 

Award Recipients will be celebrated at a future date.

 

2023 AGM Action Items

  1. Per MSA Bylaws, the following officers will be elected at the 2023 AGM: President, Second Vice President- Competitive II, Secretary/Treasurer, Northern District Director, and the Southern District Director. Any individual seeking a position on the council shall submit notice to MSA on a form approved by the council electronically, by certified mail, or commercial delivery service with signature verification at least 45 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.

  1. Per MSA Bylaws, amendments to Bylaws/Policies may be submitted for consideration during the Annual General Meeting.

  1. Bid applications are now being accepted for MSA Members in good standing for the following 2024 MSA Tournaments:  
  2. - Recreational Open Cup: April 12-14, 2024
  3. - Elite Cup: April 26-28, 2024
  4. - Premier Cup: May 10-12, 2024
  5. Awarding of tournament bids will be decided by the MSA Council and announced at the 2023 MSA Annual General Meeting.

  1. Per MSA Bylaws, all AGM delegates should be registered 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting. NOTE: Members must be in good standing with MSA to be eligible to vote during the AGM.
